Cast of Netflix’s ‘Matilda The Musical’

90’s kids will remember watching Matilda and being fascinated by her telekinetic powers and the way she overcame her bullies.

Twenty-something years later, Netflix is all set to begin production on its adaptation of the Roald Dahl’s classic titled ‘Matilda The Musical’.

Earlier this year, British actress, Lashana Lynch was confirmed to star in the movie as Miss Honey.

Reports now say that the 11 year-old Irish newcomer, Alisha Weir has been cast for the titular role and will be joined by Emma Thompson who’s playing the role of Headmistress Trunchbull.
